A new award was granted by the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) of DOE for the project titled Big Data Synchrophasor Monitoring and Analytics for Resiliency Tracking (BDSMART).The Principal Investigator is Dr. Mladen Kezunovic, P.E., Professor, ECE, Texas A&M University. The Co-PIs are Dr. Zoran Obradovic, Professor, Temple University (Philadelphia, PA) and Dr. Yi Hu, Executive Advisor, Quanta Technology (Raleigh, NC). Third Party Project Participant Rachna Handa, Innovation Project Leader, OsiSoft (San Leandro, CA). This is a 1.5 year project with an award of $1,000,000.
